Beverly Zan Cauley
Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly Zan Lott Cauley of Soperton will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton. Burial will be in the Braddy Cemetery in Montgomery County. Reverend Owen Waters will officiate. Mrs. Cauley died Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
Mrs. Cauley, 69, was the daughter of the late Eugene & Peggy Yawn Lott. She was born in Hazlehurst, GA on September 4, 1956 and was a “Class of 1974” graduate of Appling County High School. She had been a resident of Treutlen County for over 50 years and was a former seamstress for the Soperton/Woolrich Manufacturing Company and later was a Medical Assistant at East Dublin Urgent Care. Mrs. Cauley and her family attended Bear Creek Baptist Church in Montgomery County for many years.
Survivors include her husband for almost 51 years, William Cauley of Soperton; son, Will (Molly) Cauley of Soperton; two daughters, Cathy (Jason) Funderburk of Swainsboro and Katie (Daniel) Williamson of Higgston; brother, Wayne (Tammie) Lott of Baxley; sister, Janine (Jimmy) Hunter of Baxley; seven grandchildren, Mason, Madison and Mallory Funderburk and Kadan, Kace, Kamdyn and Hunter Williamson; brother/sister-in-law, Glenn & Rose Cauley of Soperton and several nieces & nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ken Pollette, Brandon Harrelson, James Hunter, Russ Connell, Tyler Cauley and Charles Hutto.
Visitation will be held Friday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
