Memorial services for Mrs. Helen Dale Lyles Johnson, formerly of Soperton, will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton. Reverend Jack Stafford will officiate. Mrs. Johnson died Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
Mrs. Johnson, 64, was the daughter of the late Clinton & Helen Young Evans. She was born in Dublin, GA on March 3, 1961, attended Wheeler County High School and was a housewife and homemaker. She had lived most of her life in Treutlen County; only recently being a resident of Wheeler County; and was a Baptist by Faith. Her son, Johnny Lavon Lyles, and brother, Lonnie Gerald Miller, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her four sons, Jerry Wilbur (Jennifer) Lyles, Jr of Adrian, Tony Michael “Grover” (Denise) Lyles of Soperton, Christopher Adam Benton (Deanna) Lyles of Soperton and Robert Clinton Lyles of Soperton; nine grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
The family will be at the home of Grover and Denise Lyles located at 1139 Woodland Drive, Soperton, GA.
