Kevin Julian Braddy
Funeral services for Mr. Kevin Julian Braddy will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Anchor of Hope Worship Center in Soperton with burial to follow in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Gilbert Posey will officiate. Mr. Braddy died Friday, February 20, 2026.
Mr. Braddy, 52, was born in Dublin, GA on August 1, 1973 and was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County. He was a graduate of Treutlen High School “Class of 1991” and attended Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College in 1992. He was a welder/millwright for Candler Machine and also worked for PCF, SAC Company, Price Company and Wayne Braddy Farms. He was an avid reader, writer, history & music buff and also loved to write poetry and draw. He was an Eagle Scout, loved anything outdoors, including hunting & fishing, any kind of dog and was a member of Hebron Holiness Church in Treutlen County. His father, Wayne Braddy, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Julian Dwayne “J. D.” Braddy of Swainsboro; grandson, Brodrick Acesa “Brody” Braddy; mother, Judy Cone Braddy of Soperton; brother, Kyle Cone (April) Braddy of Soperton and two nieces, Riley (Ridge) Braddy and Braylie Braddy.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Anchor of Hope Worship Center in Soperton.
Active pallbearers will be John Phillips, Michael Chambers, Daniel Williamson, David Bell, Steve Page and Marty Edge.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the “Class of 1991”, Wayne B Sumner, Frankie Wade, Billy Boy Wade, John Wyatt, Ron Calhoun, Jeremy Carter, Mike Smith, Jeffery Calhoun, Brett Braddy, Wally Braddy and Clayton McCoy.
