Mildred Smith Quinn

Mrs. Mildred Smith Quinn was born on March 12, 1926 in Villa Rica, GA. She was the daughter of the late Della Helton McMichael and Willie Smith. She passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 99.
Mrs. Quinn lived a life full of love and heartache. She was a strong-willed woman who loved her family. She was always in her garden growing vegetables, in the kitchen canning those vegetables or making crafts. She lived in Douglasville, GA for 54 years before moving to Mt. Vernon, with her son, for the past year. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Harry Quinn; three children, Harry Lynn Quinn, Katurah Ann Quinn Coleman and Michael Anthony Quinn; a son-in-law, George Marcus Coleman as well as three siblings, Riley Smith, Reba Smith and Billy Smith.
She leaves behind a daughter, Joyce Elaine Quinn Langvin (Michael Langvin) of Dallas, GA; a son, Thomas Wayne Quinn (Dianne Coleman Quinn) of Mt. Vernon; a sister, Rachel Howell of Villa Rica, GA; 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
In honoring her request, there will be a “Celebration of Life” to be held Sunday, June 14th from 2:00-4:00 PM at the home of Thomas Quinn located at 3208 US Hwy 221 N, Mt. Vernon, GA 30445.
