Raymond Salter

Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Salter will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Johnson Chapel Holiness Church in Treutlen County. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Reverend James Salter will officiate. Mr. Salter died Saturday, February 22, 2025.
Mr. Salter, 69, was the son of the late Thurman & Blanche Johnson Salter. He was born in Savannah, GA on July 12, 1955 and was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County. He was a “Class of 1973” graduate of Treutlen County High School, former owner/operator of Radford Cleaners in Soperton for 37 years and longtime member of Johnson Chapel Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Kay Hall Salter; son, Ashley (Brandi) Salter; daughter, Deidra Martin; two brothers, Reverend James (Janice) Salter and Gerald (Lash) Salter; three sisters, Carol (Tim) Pickett, Sharon Salter and Marcie Salter, all of Adrian; four grandchildren, Crockett, Heidi and Finn Martin and Logan Salter and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Salter, Les Salter, Braswell Walraven, Karson Walraven, Taylor Salter and Hunter Whitaker.
Visitation will be held Sunday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
