Wallace Phillips

Funeral services for Mr. Wallace Phillips of Soperton will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton. Reverend Clayton Tanner will officiate. Mr. Phillips died Sunday, May 25, 2025.
Mr. Phillips, 64, was the son of the late Autry & Jeanette Tanner Phillips. He was born is Soperton on May 13, 1961, attended Treutlen High School and was a lifelong mechanic. He was also a former employee of NSI of Soperton and a Methodist. Mr. Phillips loved fishing, sitting by the campfire and going on road trips; but most of all, he loved his family. His nephew, Dana Kittrell, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Sue Bridges Phillips of Soperton; three sons, Ron (Allison) Calhoun of Soperton, Eric (Brandy) Willis of Uvalda and Nick (Jessica) Dixon of Soperton; two daughters, Elisabeth (Doug) Raby of Mt. Vernon and Amy (D.J.) Ricks of Soperton; four brothers, Olise (Sherry) Phillips, Matt Phillips, Mitchell (Kim) Phillips and Allen (Barbara) Phillips; four sisters, Sandra (Ken) Dykstra, Suzette Brown, Diane Phillips and Debra (William) Brinson; eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 PM.
