Funeral services for Mrs. Alka Mae Watts will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Heath Cemetery in Treutlen County. Sister June Scott will officiate. Mrs. Watts died Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
Mrs. Watts, 52, was born in Pikesville, KY and had been a resident of Soperton for the past 30 years. She was a housewife and attended Trinity Assembly & Holton Chapel Churches. Her father, Leander Johnson, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Bruce Watts; son Corbin Watts and daughter, Emilie Watts, all of Soperton; her mother, Polly Johnson; two brothers, Leander Johnson Jr and James Johnson; six sisters, Anna Miracle, Sonja Tackett, Emma McGahee, Debbie Sparkman, Sandra Kay Farthing and Lillian Faye Dean and numerous other relatives.
Pallbearers were Ricky Vessell, Randy McGahee, Quincy Phillips, Cameron Braddy, Karli Stanford and Corey Wynn.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Friday night at the funeral home.
