Janice Toler
Funeral service for Ms. Janice B. Toler will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton. Burial will be in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Treutlen County. Deacon Dakota Walker will officiate. Ms. Toler died Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
Ms. Toler, 76, was the daughter of the late Joe Robert Jordan, Sr. & Katherine Lawrence Jordan. She was born in Treutlen County on October 25, 1946 and was a lifelong resident. She attended school in Treutlen County and was a retired caregiver. Ms. Toler was a “Great Mother” and loved her family. She was a Baptist by Faith. Her husband, Huey Toler and daughter, Mary Ellen Keener, both preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Marvin Thompson of Soperton, Jimmy (Jenny) Thompson of Fulton, MS and Billy (Rhonda) Thompson of Rome, GA; four daughters, Cathy (Mike) Tucker of Soperton, Frances (John) Henderson of Griffin, GA, Sharon Thompson of Cedartown, GA and Cindy (Omar) Thompson of Soperton; brother, Joe Robert Jordan, Jr. of Soperton; two sisters, Betty Black of Temple, GA and Sarah Morgan of Monticello, GA; 20 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Thompson, Mike Tucker, Trevor Ayers, Daniel Jordan, Ramsey Jordan and Trey Thompson.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
