Betty Jean Stanford Watson
Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Jean Stanford Watson will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Treutlen County. Reverend Brad Blackmon will officiate. Mrs. Watson died Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her home in Macon, GA.
Mrs. Watson, 80, was the daughter of the late John L. & Sadie Hooks Stanford. She was born in Soperton on May 14, 1941. She was a graduate of the Treutlen High School “Class of 1960”, retired from Sears Credit Central in Macon, GA and a Methodist by faith. She had been a resident of Bibb County for the past 58 years. Her brother, Bobby J. Stanford, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of over 58 years, William Phillip Watson of Macon; son, William Thomas Watson of Macon; two daughters, Barbara Ann (Tim) Annis of Cochran and Beverly Kaye (Brian) Patterson of Warner Robins and two sisters, Carolyn Mason of Vidalia and Catherine Parten of Higgston.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery on Saturday beginning at 1:30 PM.
