William Phillip Watson
Graveside services for Mr. William Phillip Watson will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 12:00 PM Noon in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Treutlen County. Reverend Brad Blackmon will officiate. Mr. Watson died Friday, January 7, 2022 at his home.
Mr. Watson, 80, was the son of the late Thomas Luther & Gladys Hall Watson. He was born on May 22, 1941 in Adrian, GA. He was a graduate of Adrian High School and a retired machine operator for Armstrong World Industries in Macon, GA. He was a resident of Macon for the past 58 years and was a Methodist by Faith. His wife, Betty Jean Stanford Watson and brother, Thomas Edsel Watson, both preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, William Thomas Watson of Macon; two daughters, Barbara Ann (Tim) Annis of Cochran and Beverly Kaye (Brian) Patterson of Warner Robins; two brothers, Joel Luther (Edith) Watson of Macon and James Grayson (Grace) Watson of Dublin; sister-in-law, Ellen Watson of Dublin; two grandchildren, Macy (Braden) Johnson and Melissa (Matt Town) Watson and great grandchild, Jett Johnson.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery beginning at 11:30 AM.
