Calvin W Moses
A “Celebration of Life” Memorial Service for Mr. Calvin William Moses will be held Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning one hour prior to the service. Mr. Moses died Saturday, October 29, 2022.
Mr. Moses, 67, was the son of the late Herbert William Moses & Florrie Brown Moses. He was born in Hillsborough County, Florida on January 21, 1955 and was a 1973 graduate of West Laurens High School in Dublin, Georgia. He was employed in the human resources division of an Atlanta firm for several years before becoming disabled and moving to Soperton in 2010. Calvin was an active member of the Soperton Garden Club, among other organizations, and was an avid gardener and cook. He was a Baptist by Faith and attended Bethsaida Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Amanda “Mandi” Singletary (Scot) of Eastman; son, Joshua David Moses (Danielle) of Dublin; seven grandchildren, Noah Brack, Devan Jackson, Tori Singletary, Taylor Singletary, Meaghan Moses, Olivia Moses and Jaxon Moses; one brother, one sister, one niece, two nephews and numerous cousins and friends.
