Norman Thomas Miller
Funeral services for Mr. Norman Thomas Miller of Soperton will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Snowhill Community Church in Wheeler County. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Reverend Kevin Connell and Reverend Ronnie Moore will officiate. Mr. Miller died Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at his home.
Mr. Miller, 66, was the son of the late Walter Miller & Virginia Mae Brubaker Miller. He was born in Greenville, OH on October 6, 1957 and had been a resident of Soperton for over 30 years. He was a retired truck driver for ATF, a former police officer, fire fighter and an EMT. He was also a Musician of Gospel Music and a member of Snowhill Community Church. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Susie Collins; father-in-law, Carson McCullough; sister-in-law, Cynthia McCullough and brother-in-law, Elbert McCullough.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Patsy McCullough Miller of Soperton; seven sons, Norman Walter “Jay” (Leslie) Miller and Thomas Lee (Denise) Miller, all of Beattyville, KY, Steve (Debbie) McCullough of Soperton, Marty (Dawn) Braddy of Ft. Pierce, FL, Alvin (Jamie) Williamson of Soperton, Billy (Kimberly) Williamson of Oak Park and Austin Cole Miller of Soperton; daughter, Dixie Braddy Deal of Soperton; three brothers, Christian Walter (Susan) Miller of Columbia, TN, Robert David Miller of Hazzard, KY and Michael Paul (Jackie) Miller of Kibbee; sister-in-law, Carolyn Beecher of Grays Landing, mother-in-law, Mildred McCullough of Helena; 25 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous loving nieces & nephews.
Pallbearers will be Willie Webber, George Webber, Chris Williams, Ken Connell, Joey Chatagnier and Chad Bright.
Visitation will be held Friday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Miller will lie in state at the church from 1-2 PM Saturday.
