Doretha Braswell Hall
Funeral services for Mrs. Doretha Braswell Hall of Adrian will be held
Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Johnson Chapel Holiness Church
in Treutlen County. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Reverend
James Salter and Grandson Wally Salter will officiate. Mrs. Hall died
Tuesday, March 31, 2015.
Mrs. Hall, 92, was the daughter of the late C.F. and Omie Kitchens
Braswell. She was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County, graduate of
Soperton High School, housewife and loving mother and a member of Johnson
Chapel Holiness Church. Her husband, Reverend Herbert Hall, brothers
Bill, Elton, Jack, & Delma Braswell and sister Doris B. Carter preceded
her in death.
Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, Herbert Edison “Eddie” (Lea) Hall
of Oak Park; 10 daughters & 7 sons-in-law, Lottie, Lynda & Dianne Hall,
Janice (James) Salter, Kay (Raymond) Salter, Lash (Gerald) Salter, Beckie
(Randall) Whitaker, Tammi (Jon) Walraven, all of Adrian, Patsy (Bill)
Daniel of Golden, CO and Wanda (Noel) Haynes of St. Marys, GA; 3 sisters,
Myrt Page of Vidalia, Nell Jones & Joann Avant, both of Macon, 13
grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and special caregiver Jackie
Coleman.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Salter, Les Salter, Braswell Walraven, Clint
Martin, Dwayne West and Keven McLendon.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hall will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Higgs Funeral Home of Soperton has charge of arrangements.
