Carl D. Geiger
Services for Mr. Carl D. Geiger will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton. Mr. Geiger died Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Vidalia.
Mr. Geiger, 81, was the son of the late Clear Dee & Darsie Mae Kea Geiger. He was born in Lothair on May 10, 1938 and had lived most of his life in Treutlen County. He was a graduate of Soperton High School and attended Brewton Parker College. He was a retired culinary supervisor from the United States Air Force, a security guard for NSI of Soperton and Catholic by Faith. His two brothers, Edward Mack & Perry and sister, Marshalle, all preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Rae Walters Geiger of Twin City; three sons, Carl D. Geiger, Jr. of Soperton, Chris Dewayne Geiger of Savannah and Edward Curtis Geiger of East Dublin; daughter, Cathy Livingston of Twin City; brother, Harold (Algeria) Geiger of Cedar Crossing; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 12 Noon on Tuesday prior to the service.
