Paul Rayburn Jackson, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Paul Rayburn Jackson, Sr. of Higgston will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Soperton. Reverend Milton Thomas will officiate. Mr. Jackson died Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
Mr. Jackson, 48, was the son of the late Paul Ray Jackson and Joan Lord Jackson Hall. He was born in Hazlehurst, GA and had lived most of his life in Treutlen and Montgomery counties. He had been a resident of Higgston for the past 19 years. He attended Treutlen High School and was a construction foreman for McLendon Enterprises. Mr. Jackson loved his family and was well known and loved by a lot of people. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Randall Jackson; sister, Teresa Carolyn Jackson and niece, Bridgett Vessell.
Survivors include his wife, Alex Grimsley Jackson of Higgston; son, Paul Rayburn Jackson, Jr. of Soperton; two nieces, Delacy Jackson and Courtney Vessell; nephew, Brent Jackson; great niece, Haizley Vessell and four great nephews, R J Jackson, Brennan Jackson, Robert Jackson and Jaxon Pace.
Visitation will be held Saturday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
