Patricia (Patsy) Hall Daniel
Mrs. Patsy Hall Daniel, 72, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Lutheran Medical Center, Denver, Colorado after an extended illness.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11 AM at Johnson Chapel Church in Adrian, GA. Reverend James Salter will officiate.
Patsy was born in Treutlen County and was a 1963 Graduate of Adrian High School. She was employed with the City of Dublin for a number of years. After leaving Dublin, she pursued a lifelong career in the municipal government sector, which led her to move to Golden Colorado where she became the Director of Finance at the City of Blackhawk, Colorado. She loved her home on Douglas Mountain where she lived with her husband, Bill. Patsy was an integral part of the Douglas Mountain Community. She was a member of the Golden Gate Auxiliary and Treasurer of the Board of the Golden Gate Fire Protection District. Her parents, Herbert & Doretha Hall preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband Bill Daniel; sisters, Lottie, Lynda, Dianne, Wanda (Noel), Janice (James), Kay (Raymond), Lash (Gerald), Beckie (Randall) & Tammi (Jon) and brother, Eddie (Lea) Hall; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who were all so fond of “PAT PAT”.
In lieu of flowers, Bill and the family are asking for donations to be made to the Golden Gate Fire Protection District Auxiliary. The GGAC is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that supports volunteer fire fighters in the district Patsy served. Donations will be allocated to a special fund and used in a way that honors Patsy’s commitment to the Fire department and her love for the Douglas Mountain community’s citizens and wildlife.
