Graveside services for Mr. Roy Hanson will be held Friday, November, 25,
2016 at 11:00 AM in the Red Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery in Treutlen
County. Reverend Kenneth Edge will officiate. Mr. Hanson died Monday,
November 21, 2016.
Mr. Hanson, 77, was the son of the late Jim & Pauline Reid Hanson. He was
born in Treutlen County, was a High School graduate and attended Berry
College. He was a retired security guard from Piggly Wiggly Southern, was
a Baptist and attended the Soperton Church of God. His brother Darwin
Hansel and sister Sue Waters preceded him in death.
Survivors include his brother, Johnny Hansel of Nashville, TN and five
sisters, Helen Leverette of Dublin, Joyce Hancock of Dublin, Wanda Harden
of St. Simons Island, Grace Edge of Uvalda and Lettie Dixon of Marietta
along with numerous nieces & nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hanson, Jason Leverette, Brian Leverette,
Travis Coleman, Jeremy Smith and Pete Peterson.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:45 AM Friday at the funeral home
