James Elbert Loggins
Mr. James Elbert Loggins died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at his home in
Treutlen County.
Mr. Loggins was the son of the late Bert & Florence Smith Loggins. He was
born in Sewanee, TN and had lived in Treutlen County for the past 21
years. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Borie during
the Korean Conflict, was a retired plumber and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his three daughters and son-in-law, Tamara & Roy
Johnson, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL and Barbara Jean Loggins & Tammie
Williams, both of Soperton; two brothers, Corbin & Gordon Loggins of
Ellington, FL; two sisters, Beulah Johnson of Atlanta and Louise Bellamy
of Ellington, FL and four grandsons, James Loggins, Roy Johnson III, Terry
Johnson and Tristan Johnson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on February 1, 2015 in
Ellington, Florida.
Higgs Funeral Home of Soperton has charge of arrangements.
