Jason Patrick Lanier
Funeral services for Mr. Jason Patrick Lanier will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton. Burial will be in the Alamo City Cemetery in Wheeler County. Reverend John Maynard will officiate. Mr. Lanier died Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
Mr. Lanier, 46, was born in Metter, GA on May 2, 1976. He was a graduate of Statesboro High School and Ogeechee Technical College where he received his Paramedic Diploma. He was a licensed Georgia Paramedic, currently employed by Atrium Health Navicent in Treutlen County where he had lived for the past seven years. He also had been serving as a paramedic in several other counties in Middle Georgia. Mr. Lanier enjoyed hunting and fishing but his favorite was his work as a gunsmith building AR’s in his spare time. He especially loved his three dogs; Gidget, Karma & Rambo. He was a Christian by Faith and was preceded in death by his step-father, Phil “Colonel” Turner.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Adams Lanier of Soperton; two sons, Aiden Lanier and Hack Chambers; two daughters, Jocie Lanier and Abi Chambers, all of Alamo; father, Randy Lanier of Metter; mother, Linda Turner of Higgston; mother/father-in-law, Steve & Elizabeth Adams of Alamo and ALL of his EMS Family.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Coats, Blaine Oxford, Seth Smith, Cyrus Brown, James Griffin, Brandon Spinks and Ron Mock.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 PM Friday night at the funeral home.
