Ramona Arlene Cooper
Mrs. Ramona Arlene Cooper of Lyons died Monday, January 28, 2019 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.
Mrs. Cooper, 82, was the daughter of the late Ruffus Clayton & Nell Rozelle Jarrell. She was born in Amarillo, TX and had lived in Lyons for over 50 years. She completed high school and received her electronics degree from Swainsboro Tech. She was previously employed by Oxford of Vidalia, was a retired electronics tech from Georgia Power-Plant Hatch and a Baptist by Faith. Her two sisters, Joyce Jayne Welch & Shirley Jean Cline, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Raymond Cooper of Lyons; son, Darrien (Jackie) Cooper of Hazlehurst; two daughters, Dannie (Shane) Davis of Soperton and Deanna (Billy Ray) Stoddard of Tarrytown; sister, Linda Dian Nicolson of Grand Prairie, TX; brother-in-law, Wayne (Janet) Cooper of Richmond Hill; five grandchildren, Rusty Davis, Ashlee Davis, Leslie Alexander, Kody Stoddard & Demi Stoddard and seven great-great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
