Funeral services for Mrs. Janette Brantley Garrison Tice will be held
Monday, February, 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home
in Soperton, GA. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM in the Riverside Cemetery
in Macon, GA. Brother Frank Brantley will officiate. Mrs. Tice died
Thursday, February 25, 2016.
Janette, a native of Treutlen County, was the daughter of the late Green
Wesley Brantley and Vestine Lord Brantley. She was retired from Robins
Air Force as a supervisor in the electronics warfare division. She was a
member of the Healy Point Country Club and the Bowden’s Women’s Golf
Association, a member of the Women of the Moose, a member of the Robins
Air Force Officers Club, a member of the Macon Exchangettes and a charter
member of the Macon Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association.
She was a former member of the Baptist Tabernacle Church and the Victory
Sunday School Class. Her siblings, Erma, Lurlene, Ovie, Tommie, Otis,
Wade, Mark, Lake and Lige, preceded her in death.
Survivors are her two sons, Gregory Garrison of Lexington, SC and Gewinner
Garrison of Palm Harbor, FL; three grandchildren, Gewinner Garrison II,
Ethan Garrison and Monica Garrison; one great grandchild, Emory Movena
and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday Night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
