Funeral services for Mrs. Connie Nancy Inez Adams will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton. Burial will be in the Nabb Cemetery in Montgomery County. Reverend Steve Edwards will officiate. Mrs. Adams died Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Mrs. Adams, 70, was the daughter of the late Floyd Joseph Delosh & Lucy Delia Mulkey Delosh. She was born in Clay County, GA on September 26, 1951, was a graduate of Treutlen High School “Class of 1969” and was retired from the Business/Financial Office of Brewton Parker College in Mt. Vernon. She loved photography, as most everyone has seen by her work, along with fishing, cooking, reading, riding her 4-wheeler and as she put it “junkin” for antiques. She was a Baptist by Faith. Her brother, Arthur Bartow Delosh and great grandchild Jase Williams, both preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Harvey Adams, Jr. of Mt. Vernon; three daughters, Lindy Sue (Robby) Powell of Mt. Vernon, Julie Adams of Ailey and Michell (Tripp) Lynn of Rincon; sister, Dorothy (Ronnie) Raven of Ft. Valley; nine grandchildren, Jacey Thomas, Ray Hardy, Courtney Hardy, Chelsea Hardy, Josh Gaspard, Zach Gaspard, Max Lynn, Noah Lynn and Brannen Lynn; five great grandchildren, Emma Hardy, Logan Hardy, Jonathan Hardy, Haydan Williams and Caseon McCarty; special friends, April & Jasper Daniels, JoAnn Addison, Robert & Angela Cook and many others, along with several nieces & nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be member of Treutlen High School "Class of 1969."
Pallbearers will be Ray Hardy, John Hooks, Robert Hooks, Jasper Daniels, Travis Craft and Rhett Thompson.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
