Marella White McLendon
Graveside services for Ms. Marella White McLendon will be held Thursday morning, August 20, 2020 at 11 AM in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Norristown. Reverend Jack Stafford will officiate. Ms. McLendon died Monday, August 17, 2020 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, GA.
Ms. McLendon, 78, was the daughter of the late Otis & Sally White. She was born in the Cedar Grove Community of Laurens County and had lived most of her life in Emanuel County. She was a retired home healthcare provider, was an active member of the Norristown Revival Center and she loved her church family. Her three brothers, Isem, Oscar & Truman White, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Isaac McLendon; three sons, James (Betty) Paul of Gray, Eugene Coleman and Stacy McLendon, both of Adrian; stepson, Thaxton McLendon of Norristown; daughter, Pamela (Steve) Anderson of Adrian; sister, Sybil (James) Amerson of Rentz; 14 grandchildren, Brandi McDaniel, Sierra Anderson, Cameron Anderson, Caitlin McLendon, Hayden McLendon, Steven McLendon, Kevin McLendon, Terry McLendon, Chad McLendon, Tee McLendon, Jeanna Paul, Hannah Paul, CJ Paul & Jaycee Paul and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the cemetery beginning at 10:15 AM.
