Gary “Bean” Phillips
Funeral services for Mr. Gary “Bean” Phillips will be held Saturday,
February 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in
Soperton. Burial will follow in the Zaidee Advent Christian Church
Cemetery in Treutlen County. Reverend Ronnie Johnson and Sister Gloria
Johnson will officiate.
Mr. Phillips, 69, was the son of the late Elisha & Reba Phillips. He was
born in Treutlen County where he had lived most of his life. He had been
a resident of East Dublin for the past 13 years. He was a retired
equipment operator with McLendon Enterprises and was a Holiness by Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Linda J. Phillips of East Dublin; son, Dale
(Ann) Phillips of Soperton; step-son, Jonathan (Dawnie) Black of East
Dublin; daughter, Christie (Crystal) Phillips of Soperton; step-daughters,
Cassiney (Jimmy) Adams of Milledgeville, Tonja (Shawn) Farmer of Chester,
Sonya (James) Wilcox of East Dublin and Davina Maddox of Dublin; brother,
Keith (Vickie) Phillips of Soperton; sisters, Charlene Thigpen of
Soperton, Vivian (Joe) Foskey of Adrian, Debbie (Travis) Beasley of
Soperton and Misty (Frank) Jackson of Soperton; 12 grandchildren, 3 great
grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Billy Phillips, Derek Phillips, Craig Phillips, Keith
Clements, Billy Richardson and Jeremy Richardson.
