Johnny R. Branch
Funeral services for Mr. Johnny R. Branch of Rockledge will be held
Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home. Burial
will be in the Red Bluff Church Cemetery in Treutlen County. Reverend
Mike Grant will officiate. Mr. Branch died Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
Mr. Branch, 85, was the son of the late Thomas & Nancy Mae Peavy Branch.
He was born in Rentz, GA, graduated from Soperton High School and was a
retired store clerk. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving
during the Korean Conflict and was a Baptist by faith. His wife, Annette
Frost Branch and brother, Carlton Branch preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Allen Branch of Macon; two daughters, Carol
(Gary) Cordry of Rockledge and Lori (Dudley) Daniels of Branford, FL; two
sisters, Gussie Mae Williamson of Macon and Minnie (Larry) Haskins of
Gray; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces &
nephews.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
