Memorial services for Mr. Jay Thomas Johnson will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Word of Hope Outreach in East Dublin, GA. Reverend Jimmy Brown will officiate. Mr. Johnson died Monday, March 27, 2023.
Mr. Johnson, 49, was born in Gainesville, GA on February 3, 1974 to Ronnie & Sharon Johnson. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School and received his welding certificate from North Georgia Technical College. Jay was a welder for most of his life, was an avid animal lover and a big Elvis fan. He really loved his family and also loved the USA and President Trump. He had been a resident of Adrian for the past 10 years and attended Word of Hope Outreach. His mother, Sharon Unnold Johnson, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his father, Ronnie (Gloria) Johnson of Adrian; brother, Tim (Judy) Johnson of Jefferson, GA; aunt, Hilda (Andy) Garrison of Jefferson, GA; uncle, Tom Johnson of Nashville, TN; two step-sisters, Cindy Connell of Milledgeville and Tracy Foreman of Marietta; step-brother, Troy Parrish of Adrian; five cousins, John Calvin Smith, Mathew Smith, Kelsey Smith, Wynn Smith and Claire Silberman.
