Marion Pearl L. Pullen
Funeral services for Mrs. Marion Pearl L. Pullen will be held Saturday,
July 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton
with burial to follow in Westview Cemetery. Reverend Conway Jones will
officiate. Mrs. Pullen died Tuesday, July 14, 2015.
Mrs. Pullen, 85, was the daughter of the late Henry Hamilton Livingston,
Sr. and Vera Pearl Kinard Livingston. She was born in Winnsboro, SC and
had lived in Treutlen County for the past 65 years. She retired after 36
years of service from JP Stevens/Forstmans Dublin Plant where she was a
Plant Manager. She was a member of Minter Baptist Church. Her husband of
63 years, Joseph C. Pullen; sister, Dorothy Smith and brother, Henry
Livingston, Jr. all preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles & Laurianne
Pullen and Joey & Tammy Pullen, all of Soperton; daughter and son-in-law,
Gayle & Phillip Blount of Statham, GA; one sister, Ruth Ruff of
Prosperity, SC; one sister-in-law, Loretta Livingston of Pomaria, SC;
three grandchildren, Lauren Blount (Wesley) Belcher of Winder, GA; Haley
Pullen Anderson of Statesboro; Kelsey Pullen of Soperton and one great
grandchild, Abigayle Belcher.
Honorary escort will be the Staff and Employees of Scott Health & Rehab.
Active pallbearers will be Jim Pullen, John Pullen, Buddy Livingston,
Chris Smith, Brian Smith, Derrick Livingston, Charles Webb and Cecil
Clontz.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scott Health & Rehab, 12
Smith Lane, Adrian, GA 31002.
