Regenia Smith Stewart

Graveside services for Ms. Regenia Smith Stewart of Soperton will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Copeland Cemetery in Treutlen County. Reverend Bill Lee will officiate. Ms. Stewart died April 12, 2022.
Ms. Stewart, 82, was the daughter of the late Albert Sidney & Bessie Wheeler Smith. She was born on July 28, 1939 in Soperton and was a graduate of Soperton High School “Class of 1957”. She was a graduate of Middle Georgia State University in Macon with a Degree in Nursing and was retired from Coliseum Park Hospital in Macon. She and her late husband had lived in Macon for over 50 years before moving back to Treutlen County in 2010. Ms. Stewart was a member of the Lothair United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Harold Eugene Stewart, Sr., preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Harold Eugene (Tonya) Stewart, Jr. of Cleveland, SC; daughter, Angela (Paul) Little of Macon; sister, Henrietta Barber of Soperton; five grandchildren, Justin Little, Kaylee McCullough, Sidney Stewart, Mason Stewart and Aaron Hunt and one great grandchild, Rooney McCullough.
The family will receive friends at her home located at 693 GA Hwy 199 Spur, Soperton, GA beginning at 1:00 PM Friday prior to the service.
