Julia P. Clonts
Services for Mrs. Julia Parker Clonts of Soperton will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1:30 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home. Reverend Mike Collins and Reverend Bill Lee will officiate. Mrs. Clonts died September 30, 2020 at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA.
Mrs. Clonts, 83, was the daughter of the late Aaron C. Parker, Sr. & Georgia Ruth Duke Parker. She was born in Bridgeport, AL, was a high school graduate and retired as a spinner from Burlington Textile Manufacturing in NC. She had been a resident of Treutlen County for the past 32 years and was a member of the Lothair United Methodist Church. Her brother, Aaron C. Parker, Jr. and grandson, Jason L. Acres, both preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Cecil L. Clonts of Soperton; son, Michael Bernard (Melody) Tittle of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; daughter, Barbara Ann Davis of Gastonia, NC; two step-sons, Cecil L. (Lori) Clonts, III of Maple Falls, WA and Kennith W. (Susan) Clonts of Orlando, FL; sister, Mary Ruth Parker of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at Noon on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lothair United Methodist Church Benevolent Fund.
