Betty Lou “Lou Lou” Johnson

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lou “Lou Lou” Bussell Johnson will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton. Burial will follow in the Red Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery in Treutlen County. Brother Keith Clements will officiate. Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
Mrs. Johnson, 81, was the daughter of the late Arthur Clur Bussell & Myrtle Sherell Bussell. She was born in Cookville, TN on March 22, 1941, attended Manatee High School in Florida and lived most of her life in Treutlen County. She was a housewife and homemaker and attended Rosemont Baptist Church in Treutlen County. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Raybern Johnson and son, Larry D. Hall.
Survivors include two sons, Archie (Brenda) Johnson and Mark (Sherri) Hall; daughter, Teresa (Mike) Magrane, all of Soperton; sister, Patricia Melvin of Bradenton, FL; eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Reid, Micky Manning, Jimmy Ray Clements, Sidney Manning, Danny Mason, Frankie Wade and Shane Davis.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
