Bruce Wayne Braddy
Funeral services for Mr. Bruce Wayne Braddy will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Anchor of Hope Worship Center in Soperton. Burial will be in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Treutlen County. Reverend Gilbert Posey and Reverend Mark Sweat will officiate. Mr. Braddy died Saturday, September 25, 2021.
Mr. Braddy, 72, was the son of the late Julian Theron & Daphne Gay Braddy. He was born in the Laurens County Hospital in Dublin on November 1, 1948 and was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County. He was a member of the graduating “Class of 1966” at Treutlen High School and a lifelong farmer. Mr. Braddy was the owner/operator of Wayne Braddy Trucking, LLC, and a “car enthusiast”. He was a Baptist by Faith and attended Harmony Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50+ years, Judy Cone Braddy; two sons, Kevin Braddy and Kyle (April) Braddy, all of Soperton; three grandchildren, Julian Dwyane Braddy, Riley Elizabeth Braddy & Braylie Grace Braddy and one great grandchild, Brodrick Asa Braddy, numerous cousins; his right hand man, Hubert “Boot” Woods and his beloved companion, "Flash”.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Dickens, Hugh Gillis, E J Harris, Larry Calhoun, Marion Calhoun, Sammy Meeks, Jimmy Love, Richard Daniels, Freddie Willis and Richard Dennard.
Active pallbearers will be Wayne B Sumner, Frankie Wade, Ron Calhoun, Mitchell Meeks, Bill Odom and Jeremy Carter.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the Anchor of Hope Worship Center in Soperton.
