Funeral services for Mr. Donnie Beasley of Tarrytown will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Beasley Cemetery in Treutlen County. Reverend Conway Jones and Jeremy Lanford will officiate. Mr. Beasley died Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
Mr. Beasley, 66, was the son of the late Otha L. & Mable Lyles Beasley. He was born in Soperton on June 13, 1957 and was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County. He attended Treutlen High School and was an automotive mechanic for most of his life. He was employed by Nowers Synthetics for several years and was a Treutlen County School Bus Driver for 22 years. Donnie loved to hunt & fish and was Holiness by Faith. His son, Donnie Beasley; grandson, Dalton Beasley; brother-in-law, Johnny Lanford and nephew, James Connell, all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Louella Phillips Beasley of Tarrytown; five daughters, Janie Ricks of Dublin, Becky Collins, Lori (Brad) Clements, Sara (Eddie) Vongsouvanh and Sherry (Nick) Livingston; son, Otha Beasley, all of Tarrytown; two sisters, Patricia Lanford of Tarrytown and Debbie (Mike) Roundtree of Swainsboro; 25 grandchildren, Bradley Clements, Danny Clements, Laura Clements, Jonathan Stevens, Patrick Stevens, Hailey Stevens, Aiden Collins, Paizley Livingston, Adi Livingston, Ava Livingston, Kambri Livingston, Jace Beasley, Brayden Beasley, Bryson Beasley, River Beasley, Remi Vongsouvanh, Ryker Vongsouvanh, Evie Vongsouvanh, Junior Vongsouvanh, Emily Beasley, Otha Beasley, Ellie Beasley, Meagan Ricks, Derek Ricks and D J Ricks; six great grandchildren, Vayda Jones, Timothy Jones, Viviana Jones, Everleigh Stevens, Raeleigh Stevens and Jonathan Stevens, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Danny Clements, Otha Beasley, Jace Beasley, Patrick Stevens, Evans Lanford, Nicholas Hester, Brandon Lanford and Skyler Lanford.
Visitation will be held Saturday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
