Arlethea Sue Moore Howell

Mrs. Arlethea Sue Moore Howell of Soperton died Thursday, October 7, 2021 at her home in Treutlen County.
Mrs. Howell, 78, was the daughter of the late Dennis A. Moore & Ada W. Moore Pruett. She was born on February 18, 1943 in Macon, GA. She was a high school graduate and also received her two year college degree in Macon. Mrs. Howell and her family have been residents of Treutlen County since 1971. She was a retired teacher from the Treutlen County Board of Education, she loved books, art and doing puzzles with her grandchildren and she was a Christian by Faith. Her nephew, Will Moore, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gary Gene Howell; two sons, Scott (Kimberley) Howell and Reid (Angela) Howell, all of Soperton; brother, Dennis L. (Martha) Moore of Marietta; four grandchildren, Houston Howell, Hayley Howell, Kaycey (Hunter) Jackson and Lacey Howell; two nephews, Matt Moore and Judd (Jen) Moore and several cousins.
Visitation will be held Sunday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
