Larry Glenn Steptoe

Services for Mr. Larry Glenn Steptoe will be held Sunday, July 24, 2016 at
2:00 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home with burial to follow in
Westview Cemetery in Soperton.  Reverend Steve Coomes and Sister June
Scott will officiate.  Mr. Steptoe died Thursday, July 21, 2016.

Mr. Steptoe, 66, was the son of the late Eugenia Steptoe Johnson.  He was
born in Soperton where he attended school and lived most of his life.  He
was a retired painter and a member of the Soperton Pentecostal Holiness
Church.  His grandchild, Landry Peyton Steptoe, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Berneese Beck Steptoe; daughter Tammy (Jeff)
Toler; son, Tracey (Amy) Steptoe; brother, Jimmy (Regina) Steptoe, all of
Soperton; aunt, Marilyn (Jolly) Graham of Johnson Corner; seven grandchildren,
April (Troy) White, Jessica (Clint) Walker,Matthew Toler, Hannah Toler,
Andrea Toler, Landon Steptoe, Layla Steptoe and great grandchild Forest White.

Pallbearers will be John Lewis Richardson, Troy White, Clint Walker, Jeff
Watts, Jeffrey Watts and Mitchell Steptoe.

Visitation will be held Saturday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
