William H. “Billy” Cone
Graveside services for Mr. William H. “Billy” Cone will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 3 PM in the Red Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery in Treutlen County. Mr. Cone died Monday, March 18, 2019.
Mr. Cone, 76, was the son of the late Willie Frank & Mary Estelle Hester Cone. He was born in Treutlen County, a graduate of Treutlen High School “Class of 1960” and a Veteran of the United States Army Reserve. He was a retired school bus driver for the Treutlen County Board of Education and a farmer. He was a former employee of Sweat’s BBQ, The Bank of Soperton and Oxford of Dublin. He was also a member of Red Bluff Baptist Church. His brother, Eddie Frank Cone, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of over 42 years, Betty Waldon Cone of Soperton; two sons, Randy & Thomas Carter of Soperton; daughter, Brenda Yawn of Chauncey; brother, Bobby (Janis) Cone of Soperton; sister, Judy (Wayne) Braddy of Soperton; two grandchildren, Cindy White of Eastman and Paul Yawn of Brunswick; lifetime friend Randall Meeks and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
