Larry Joseph Kelley
Graveside services for Mr. Larry Joseph Kelley of Mt. Vernon will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 2 PM in the Bazel Connell Cemetery in Montgomery County. The Reverend Jason Corbett will officiate. Mr. Kelley died Thursday, August 12, 2021.
Mr. Kelley, 54, was born in Dublin, GA on June 9, 1967 and had lived most of his life in Treutlen and Montgomery Counties. He was a Treutlen High School graduate, “ Class of 1985” and was a truck driver for B & S of Dublin. Larry really loved GEORGIA FOOTBALL, along with hunting, fishing and all of his chickens. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and also attended Journey Community Churchin Vidalia. His father, Larry Gene Kelley, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa H. Kelley of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Leslie (Tommy) Pagan of Collins and Morgan Page of Charleston, SC; son, Peyton Page of Mt. Vernon; mother, Josephine Reynolds of Zaidee; mother-in-law, Dorothy Hutchison of Mt. Vernon; three brothers, Brad (Kathy) Kelley of Soperton, Jonathan Kelley and Jeffery Kelley, both of Zaidee; sister, Krista Kelley of Dublin; four grandchildren, Raelyn Page and Rowan, Renly & Carolina Pagan; three aunts, Lynda (Jack) Val Lance, Lori Lankford & Judy Phillips and several nieces/nephews & cousins.
Pallbearers will be Mitch Edenfield, Charlie Jeffers, Adam Patterson, John Mayer, Johnny Kight and John Lankford.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton.
