Graveside services for Mr. Dempsey Earl Parker, Jr. will be held Sunday, July, 7, 2019 at 2 PM in the Rosemont Baptist Church Cemetery in Treutlen County. Reverend Larry Hammock will officiate. Mr. Parker died Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
Mr. Parker, 61, was born in Kinston, NC and was a resident of Treutlen County for a number of years. He was a high school graduate, a veteran of the US Navy, a retired truck driver and Baptist by Faith. His father, John Larry Haworth and daughter, Amanda Jo Parker-Carter, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter, Hannah (Dillon) Manring of Soperton; three grandchildren, Ryan Denham and Coewyn & Caedyn Manring, his mother Angelene Haworth of Green Cove Springs, FL; six sisters, Kathy (Chuck) Hopkins of Fleming Island, FL, Angela Bramlitt of Wildwood, FL, Betty (Bobby) Roberts of Pinehurst, NC, Brenda (Eddie) Lowe of Green Cove Springs, FL, and Linda (Glen) Young & Debbie Runion, of Dalton, GA.
